Our program
Temporary housing with structure—so people can rebuild.
We focus on normalcy: a safe place to sleep, a routine that supports progress, and a clear path toward independence.

The problem
Survival isn't living.
Across Pittsburgh, people are surviving in tent camps under bridges — without shelter, safety, or a path forward. Traditional services often fall short. We're building something different.
How it works
Our three-phase approach creates the foundation for lasting change.
Stabilize
The first step is creating stability. We provide safe temporary housing, address basic needs, and establish a consistent environment. This breathing room allows individuals to begin thinking beyond survival mode.
- Safe, clean temporary housing
- Basic needs addressed (food, clothing, hygiene)
- Consistent, stable environment
Build Structure
With stability established, we introduce structure. Routine, accountability, and supportive guidance—without judgment—create the framework for progress. This phase is about building habits and skills that support long-term success.
- Daily routines and accountability
- Supportive guidance and mentorship
- Life skills development
Move Forward
The final phase focuses on creating lasting independence. We connect individuals with work opportunities, healthcare, and community resources that support long-term stability. The goal is a sustainable path forward.
- Employment connections and job readiness
- Healthcare and wellness resources
- Community integration and ongoing support
The vision
Proposed tiny village communities
Using Act 135, we acquire and revitalize blighted Pittsburgh properties to build mini house communities — complete with shared facilities, job training areas, and community gardens.
